The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is the only organization solely dedicated to supporting arts and culture in The Palm Beaches, Florida’s Cultural Capital®. In its sustaining effort to foster growth of the cultural sector, the Council provides support services to cultural organizations and creative professionals, administers public and private grant programs, advocates for cultural funding, enhances local arts education, and promotes cultural tourism. It's also a venue that highlights local creative professionals, and is home to a gift store and visitor information center.
Champion. Engage. Grow. Fulfilling the need for arts and cultural experiences in Palm Beach County.
The Institute for Cultural Advancement is the Cultural Council’s signature, multitiered professional development program for cultural organizations and creative professionals. Generously sponsored by The Donald M. Ephraim Cultural Leadership Fund through the Donald M. Ephraim Family Foundation, sessions are offered throughout the year and are free to all members of the Cultural Council and only $10 for non-members.
The Council provides free services to Palm Beach County creative professionals—across all disciplines at every level—including the opportunity to be listed in its online artist directory, invitations to networking/collaborative events, unlimited access to the Council’s Artist Resource Team (ART) and more. Creative professionals receive additional benefits when they become a member. The Council also offers several grant opportunities to creative professionals, including the Artist Innovation Fellowship Program, the Dina Baker Fund for Mature Female Artists, and the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship.
